Emotional Processing Scale(EPS)
The Emotional Processing Scale (EPS) by Roger Baker, Peter Thomas, Sarah Thomas, Mariaelisa Santonastaso and Eimear Corrigan is a 25-item questionnaire for adults that identifies how a person processes emotions and where that processing may break down. Developed over 12 years, it helps clinicians and researchers gauge healthy and unhealthy styles, judge how poor emotional processing feeds into physical, psychosomatic and psychological problems, and track emotional change during therapy, without making a diagnosis. It takes 10 to 15 minutes, individually or in groups, and the kit contains the manual, a norms booklet and 25 forms.
