Early Childhood Attention Deficit Disorders Evaluation Scale (ECADDES)
The Early Childhood Attention Deficit Disorders Evaluation Scale (ECADDES), by Stephen B. McCarney, helps professionals evaluate ADHD in young children from the reports of the adults who observe them most closely, covering girls aged 24 to 83 months and boys aged 24 to 78 months. Teachers complete the School Version and parents or guardians the Home Version, and both are scored on Inattentive and Hyperactive-Impulsive subscales. A rating takes about 15 minutes, and the kit includes technical manuals and rating forms for both versions, Spanish home rating forms and DSM-IV forms.
