The Dynamic Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment (DLOTCA), by Noomi Katz, Liat Livni, Asnat Bar-Haim Erez and Sarah Averbuch, gives occupational therapists a detailed cognitive profile of adults aged 18 to 69 with neurological conditions, to guide intervention. Building on the original LOTCA, it adds a dynamic element in which the therapist offers mediation, showing the person's potential to learn and the thinking strategies they use, as well as how aware they are of their own difficulties. Its 28 subtests span 7 areas: orientation, awareness, visual and spatial perception, thinking operations, praxis and visuomotor construction.
