The Developmental Scoring System for the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure (DSS-ROCF), by Jane Holmes Bernstein and Deborah Waber, judges how a child aged 5 to 14 copies and recalls the complex figure against what is typical for the child's age. It scores four aspects, accuracy, errors, organisation and style, so it shows not only how well the figure is reproduced but how the child goes about it, which often reflects how the child handles new and complex material. It takes about 35 minutes including a delay, and the kit contains the professional manual, the stimulus card, 25 scoring booklets and 50 response sheets.
