Detroit Tests of Learning Abilities- Fifth Edition (DTLA-5)
The DTLA-5 measures specific cognitive abilities in children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 through 12 subtests, ranging from word opposites and geometric matrices to sentence imitation, trail making and rapid naming. Subtest results combine into six composites for areas such as verbal comprehension, nonverbal problem solving, memory and processing speed, two broader composites for reasoning and processing ability, and a global score for general cognitive ability. Examiners may give one domain or both to suit the purpose of the assessment, and the kit includes the manual, two picture books and 25 each of the record and response booklets.
