Denver II (Denver Developmental Screening Test)
The Denver II is a developmental screening tool for children from birth to 6 years, used by professionals and trained paraprofessionals to check whether a child's development falls within the expected range and to spot children who may be at risk. It samples a wide spread of skills in a short time, so it is a screen rather than a diagnosis and does not aim to measure any single ability such as intelligence. Its standardisation drew on more than 2,000 children from Colorado. The kit contains the training manual, 100 test forms and the screening materials in a zipped bag.
