Criminal Propensity Scale
The Criminal Propensity Scale by Dr. Shubhra Sanyal assesses the tendency towards crime in the general population, so that vulnerable people can be identified and counselled, and in offenders it indicates whether their outlook might hinder rehabilitation after release from prison. Its 39 items draw on how offenders and non-offenders answered selected items of the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire measuring psychoticism, neuroticism and extraversion. It takes 15 to 20 minutes, is in English, and the kit includes a manual, 100 consumable booklets and a scoring key.
