Coping Responses Inventory - Youth
The Coping Responses Inventory–Youth Form, by Rudolf H. Moos, asks adolescents aged 12 to 18 how they handled a recent difficulty or source of stress, capturing both what they thought and what they did. Eight scales separate approach coping, like analysing the problem logically or seeking guidance and support, from avoidant coping, like trying not to think about it or giving up. It helps counsellors describe cases, plan treatment and track change, and it takes 10 to 15 minutes. The kit includes the manual, 10 reusable item booklets, 50 answer sheets and a supplement on research applications and validity.
