Coping Responses Inventory - adult
The Coping Responses Inventory–Adult Form, by Rudolf H. Moos, is a short self-report questionnaire that shows how a person aged 18 to 90 dealt with a recent difficulty or stressful event, in thought and in action. Its 8 scales divide into approach styles, such as problem solving, positive reappraisal, logical analysis and seeking guidance, and avoidant styles, such as cognitive avoidance, resignation, emotional discharge, and turning to alternative rewards. It is used in counselling, stress-management education and treatment planning and review, and takes 10 to 15 minutes. The kit includes the manual, 10 reusable item booklets, 50 answer sheets and a research supplement.
