Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing 2nd Ed. (CTOPP - 2)
The CTOPP-2 measures phonological awareness, rapid naming and phonological memory, abilities that are closely tied to learning to read. It helps find people who may benefit from extra work on phonological skills, and it has two versions: one for ages 4 to 6 and one for ages 7 to 24. Testing is individual and takes about 40 minutes; the kit includes the examiner's manual, 25 record booklets for each version, a picture book and 2 CDs.
