Comprehensive Mathematical Abilities Tests – Second Edition (CMAT-2)
The CMAT-2 assesses a wide range of mathematical abilities, from calculation to reasoning and applied problems, in students aged 8 to 18. Six core subtests cover addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, problem solving and reading charts, tables and graphs, and can usually be given in about 45 minutes; six supplemental subtests on algebra, geometry and rational numbers, and on time, money and measurement, are added when higher-level skills need checking. An online scoring and report system turns raw scores into scaled and composite scores, percentile ranks and a narrative report. The kit comes with two forms, A and B, each with its own record and response booklets.
