Cognitive Linguistic Quick Test-Plus (CLQT™+)
The Cognitive Linguistic Quick Test-Plus (CLQT+), by Nancy Helm-Estabrooks, quickly shows strengths and weaknesses in five cognitive areas, memory, language, attention, visuospatial skills and executive functions, in adults aged 18 to 89 whose brain function may be affected by stroke, head injury or dementia. This edition adds an optional route for people with aphasia, including a new task of understanding word meanings, so that their results are easier to interpret, and it can be given at a table or the bedside. It takes 15 to 30 minutes, and the kit contains the examiner's manual and supplement, a stimulus book, 25 record forms, 25 response booklets and transparencies for scoring the cancellation and trails tasks.
