Cognistat, by Ralph J. Kiernan, Jonathan Mueller and J. William Langston, is a quick screen of neurocognitive functioning for people aged 12 and over. It checks alertness, orientation and attention span, and then five areas of ability: language, construction, memory, calculation, and reasoning and judgement. It takes about 10 minutes, and the kit contains the 2011 manual, 25 test booklets, a stimulus booklet and a set of 8 tokens.
