Children 's Auditory Verbal Learning Test - Second Edition (CAVLT -2)
Jack L. Talley's Children's Auditory Verbal Learning Test, Second Edition (CAVLT-2), measures verbal learning and memory in young people aged 6 to 17. A word list is read over five trials, a second list then serves as interference, and the child recalls the first list straight after and again after a short delay, before telling its words apart from new ones in a recognition task. It is given individually in about 25 minutes, and the kit contains the professional manual and 25 test booklets.
