Children's Aggression Scale (CAS)
The Children's Aggression Scale (CAS) by Jeffrey M. Halperin uses parent and teacher rating forms to show how often, how seriously and in which settings a child aged 5 to 18 behaves aggressively. Items are weighted by how severe the aggressive act is, and the results support the planning and monitoring of treatment. It was standardised with 438 parents and 516 teachers from the community, with further data from children diagnosed with ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder or social maladjustment. It takes 10 to 15 minutes, and the kit contains the professional manual and 25 each of the parent and teacher rating forms and score summary profiles.
