Child and Adolescent Memory Profile (ChAMP)
The Child and Adolescent Memory Profile (ChAMP), by Elisabeth M. S. Sherman and Brian L. Brooks, is an examiner-given memory test for ages 5 to 21 that serves both as a full evaluation and as a screen. With only four subtests it covers immediate and delayed memory for both verbal and visual material, using everyday scenes and colourful pictures that appeal to young people, and no motor response is needed. The full test takes about 35 minutes and the Screening Index about 10; a built-in validity indicator warns of doubtful scores, and the manual offers case examples and advice for home and school. The kit contains the professional manual with fast guide, 25 record forms and the stimulus book.
