Child & Adolescent Symptom Inventory-5(CASI-5)
The Child & Adolescent Symptom Inventory-5 (CASI-5) rates symptoms of the emotional and behavioural disorders listed in DSM-5, for school-age children and adolescents aged 5 to 18. It combines the earlier Child and Adolescent Symptom Inventories into one tool for the whole age range, with a 173-item Parent Checklist covering more than two dozen disorders and a 125-item Teacher Checklist. Each disorder carries a question on how far the symptoms interfere with social or school life, and a clinician can read the parent version aloud as a structured interview. It takes 10 to 20 minutes, and the kit includes 25 each of the parent and teacher checklists with symptom count and severity score sheets.
