Career Directions Inventory Online
The Career Directions Inventory (CDI), by Douglas N. Jackson, helps secondary school pupils, college students and adults plan their education and careers. It presents 100 groups of work activities, and for each group the person marks the one they would most and least like to do; the wording is kept simple, and there is particular attention to sales, service and technical work. Computer scoring produces a gender-fair profile on 15 basic interest scales, from art, writing and science and technology to sales, clerical and outdoor work, covering the kind of work a person wants as well as the way they like to work. It takes about 30 minutes, and this online kit includes the software with 10 coupons, the technical manual and the software manual.
