Career Attitudes and Strategies Inventory (CASI)
The Career Attitudes and Strategies Inventory (CASI), by John L. Holland and Gary D. Gottfredson, works as a career check-up for adults aged 17 to 77, surveying the beliefs, events and pressures that shape a person's working life. It maps the current work situation, including attitudes and ways of coping with the job, family, co-workers and supervisors, gauges how stable the person's employment is likely to be and brings perceived career obstacles into the open for discussion. Organisations can also use it to look at the work environment and sources of dissatisfaction. It takes about 35 minutes, and the kit includes the manual and 25 each of the inventory booklets, answer sheets and interpretive summary booklets.
