British Ability Scales - Third Edition (BAS-3)

The British Ability Scales, Third Edition (BAS3), by Colin D. Elliott, Pauline Smith and Kay McCulloch, is an individually given battery of cognitive abilities for children and young people from 3 years to 17 years 11 months. Scoring is done through the publisher's online Scoring and Reporting Service, which converts scores, produces reports and replaces the norm tables printed in the BAS II manuals; the tables needed for scoring by hand can be downloaded from it. A session takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the child, and the kit includes the administration and scoring manual, stimulus materials, record booklets for the early years, school-age and diagnostic scales, and a bag and trolley.
