Body Image Scale
The Body Image Scale by Ramesh Kumar and Rakesh Kumar Behmani is a standardised Hindi scale that measures how adults aged 18 to 45 currently see their own bodies. It covers five areas, namely how they perceive their weight, their wish to be fit, their satisfaction with their body, dissatisfaction with particular body parts and their concern for health, and shows whether body image is positive or negative. Health psychologists, dietitians and nutritionists can use it to identify body image concerns among young people, and it has no time limit, though most people finish in about 10 minutes. The kit contains a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
