Psychological Tests
Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS)
The Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS) by Aaron T. Beck measures how negatively a person aged 17 to 80 views the future. On each of its 20 true-or-false items the person either agrees with a pessimistic statement or rejects an optimistic one. It takes 5 to 10 minutes, individually or in groups, and the kit contains the manual, 25 record forms and a scoring key.
