BAYLEY-4 Complete Kit
The Bayley-4, by Nancy Bayley and Glen P. Aylward, assesses the development of babies and young children from 16 days to 42 months across five scales, covering language, motor and cognitive development together with adaptive behaviour and social-emotional growth. Cognitive, language and motor skills are measured through structured tasks with the child, with the caregiver helping where suitable, while social-emotional and adaptive behaviour are rated through a caregiver questionnaire that draws on what the caregiver sees every day. It takes 30 to 70 minutes, and the complete kit contains the administration and technical manuals, 25 each of the record forms, motor response booklets, social-emotional and adaptive behaviour questionnaires and caregiver reports, a stimulus book, an observation checklist and the manipulatives.
