Augmentative & Alternative Communication Profile: A Continuum of Learning (AACP)
The Augmentative & Alternative Communication Profile (AACP), by Tracy M. Kovach, is for people who communicate using AAC systems, from age 2 through adulthood. It serves both as an assessment of the functional skills behind communicative competence with AAC, including re-evaluation and progress monitoring, and as a guide to planning intervention for clients using any speech-generating device. It is given individually over 60 to 90 minutes, and the kit contains the examiner's manual and 15 profile forms.
