Aphasia Diagnostic Profiles
Nancy Helm-Estabrooks's Aphasia Diagnostic Profiles (ADP) offer a quick, systematic, individually given assessment of the language and communication problems that come with aphasia in adults. Its nine short subtests each give standard scores and percentile ranks, and a behavioural profile records the patient's emotional state during testing. It was standardised with 290 adults with neurological impairments and 40 without aphasia; it takes 40 to 45 minutes, and the kit contains the manual, stimulus cards with a letter board and 25 record forms.
