Dr. Vikas S. Minchekar's Academic Stress Scale for College Students (ASSCS) measures the academic stress felt by college and university students and traces it to five sources: fear of examinations, a sense of personal inadequacy, dealings with peers and teachers, poor facilities at college, and parents' expectations along with socio-economic status. Students complete it themselves, individually or in groups, in about 15 to 20 minutes. It comes in Hindi and English editions, and the kit contains a manual and 100 consumable booklets.
