ABCD-2: Arizona Battery for Cognitive-Communication Disorders, Second Edition Complete Kit
The ABCD-2 is a standardised battery for screening and fully assessing people aged 15 to 95 and over who may have a mild to moderate neurocognitive disorder, such as mild cognitive impairment, dementia or traumatic brain injury. Its 17 short subtests span five domains: episodic memory, mental status, visuospatial construction, and language, both expressed and understood. Four optional screening tasks check whether problems with vision, reading or other areas might affect the results, and the new standardisation sample includes people with mild cognitive impairment. Testing takes 45 to 90 minutes, and the kit contains the manual, 25 record and 25 response booklets, stimulus books A and B, test stimuli and a laminated scoring card.
