01The problem

Good intentions do not always produce good career decisions.

Students today face an expanding range of courses, careers and pathways. Career counselling creates a structured space to understand the individual, examine alternatives and make decisions based on evidence, reflection and informed guidance rather than pressure or guesswork.

Everyone who loves a child has an opinion about that child's future, and the opinions rarely agree. Counselling is not another opinion added to the pile. It is a structured hour in which the student's own profile is put on the table, the realistic options are laid beside it, and the reasoning is made visible to everyone in the room. Parents tend to leave with fewer worries and better questions. Students tend to leave with a decision they can defend.

Talk to a Counsellor

The evidence behind all of this — who you would speak to, and what we will not claim — sits on the Parents page, where it belongs to the whole audience rather than to one service.
